PUPPY SALES CONTRACT

The above named dog is being sold as a Pet/Companion Animal for the sum of
$__________________. A deposit of $400.00 must be paid to hold the above puppy and is NON REFUNDABLE. Purchase price is also NON REFUNDABLE. See below for further details to this sale.

BREEDER AGREES:
* Above dog/puppy has been found to be in good health.
* Above dog/puppy is up to date on its immunizations and wormed.
* To supply buyer with shot record, registration information or AKC papers (If
received on time) or receipt, and any other necessary paperwork at time of purchase.
At the time of sale, this dog/puppy is considered and being sold as pet quality, Linda Ferland, breeder, offers no guarantee that disqualifying faults will not arise at a later date which would make this puppy unsuitable for the show ring or for breeding.
72 Hour Health Guarantee: (1 year replacement guarantee)
This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of delivery. For the protection of the purchaser and seller, the puppy should be examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the puppy is declared unacceptable health by the licensed veterinarian within 72 hours (unless this falls on a weekend or Monday is a holiday) of the purchase/shipment date, he/she should issue a written statement of diagnosis that must be presented at the time the puppy is returned. The puppy must be returned to us within 5 days of purchasing date. If the Buyer does not take the puppy to a veterinarian within 72 hours from the date of purchase, this warranty becomes null and void. The buyer shall elect to return the puppy to the breeder (at the buyer's expense) for a replacement puppy, provided that the puppy has not been injured or neglected.
As of the date of delivery, the puppy has received proper vaccinations and de-wormings. The buyer has been informed of these and of future vaccinations and de-wormings due.

Puppy must be paid in full before being shipped or at the time of pick up. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Shipping costs are in addition to purchase price of puppy.
We DO NOT refund money, we replace the dog/puppy with one of equal value from the same litter if available or another litter, only if our veterinarian is in agreement with the diagnosis of your veterinarian. If the dog/puppy is not examined by a licensed veterinarian, no guarantee is given.
BUYER AGREES:
* To have above puppy vet checked within 72 hours of possession.
* That all vet bills are the responsibility of the buyer.
* To keep the above puppy up-to-date on all immunizations and health care.
* To notify the breeder if they can no longer care for the puppy, that the buyer will give the breeder first chance to buy back the puppy at the price no higher than the sale price.
* Provide puppy with routine preventive care. Annual physical examinations by a licenced veterinarian. Give all immunizations. Administer heart worm preventative monthly. Breeder is not responsible for any veterinary costs incurred by the dog. Breeder is not responsible for any transportation costs incurred in returning or replacing the
puppy. This contract applies to the original buyer only and is non-transferable to a second party. This contract is null and void if any of the terms and conditions are not fulfilled. It is also recommended that a better pet is made by having your new pet spayed or neutered at or approximately six months of age.
TERMS OF REPLACEMENT:
If the above dog should develop a severe genetic disease and can no longer function as a Pet/Companian Animal the breeder will replace at no charge with a comparable value (ie. Animal or Pet/Companion). The dog will be replaced either from the same litter or from a future litter, within a year (when possible) of the dog being returned to the breeder or at such a date that a planned breeding occurs. A proper letter from the vet stating the problem found, and the vet's opinion on the viability of the animal must accompany the returned dog/puppy. All the vet bills and returned shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be accepted by the breeder.
No refund, in part or in full will be given for the following: There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: Coccidia, Kennel cough, Cancer, Demodectic Mange, Scabies, growths, allergies and other autoimmune system disorders that are not covered in this guarantee. Coccidia and Kennel Cough are common in puppies that are shipped and is caused by bacteria. Both are not life-threatening and are easily treated.
Kennel Cough is like a common cold and must run its course. This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undropped testicles or umbilical hernia.
This contract applies to the original buyer only and is non-transferable to a second party.
This contract is null and void if any of the terms and conditions is not fulfilled. All items covered under this guarantee are replacement only. We do not give refunds.
Unless otherwise specified, all vet bills for corrective surgery, cosmetic surgery, shots and normal healthcare, euthanasia, spay/neuter and also shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
I have read the above contract thoroughly and understand and agree with the terms set forth in this document. I also understand that this is a binding agreement and will abide by the terms we have agreed above. I acknowledge my acceptance of this contract with my signature below.
